For my bachelor thesis I decided to face the Rialto Mercato (Venice) situation. Reading newspapers and living the place daily, I realized the difficult moment it was facing and I imagined the creation of a venetian food and culture district in the Rialto area. Firstly I designed a corporate identity with the aim of promoting, highlighting and marking the area. Then, according to the proposal of some civic associations, I included the creation of a “museum of the city”. Finally, focusing on the creation of new jobs and trying to diversificate the target, I scheduled many cultural events/activities and some street
food stands.
A few weeks after discussing my thesis, I got in touch with the Rialto Novo Committee which showed interested to my project. We are now collaborating for other events in the city.
