visual designer & researcher

This ongoing online archive stems from a long-standing interest in graphic and typographic overlays within the urban landscape. The project began during my first year of university, following the discovery of Street Level—Robert Brownjohn’s visual research from the 1960s, published in Typographica.

The archive brings together and curates photographs of torn, weathered, and layered posters, documenting ephemeral surfaces in which different moments of the city overlap. Beyond their visual qualities, these fragments reveal traces of changing social and cultural contexts, generating new meanings through accumulation, decay, and typographic distortion.
